Concrete evidence



H.A. Farmer, Contractor and Builder was established at 825 3rd Street South in 1912. They manufactured sidewalk hex blocks in red, green, yellow, and grey. Mr. Farmer died in 1927; his sons continued the business until 1961.

Hi! As a Farmer in-law, I am very touched to see this. However, it is not true that the "sons" carried on the business. Horace's son was James Farmer, my husband's Drew Farmer's dad....James only worked there as a kid...
